NEW PROJECT: LILY by Molly Bicks

Rebecca will be directing Flannel Theater Company’s workshop production of Lily, a new play by Molly Bicks, next month in the Portland Stage rehearsal studio!

Lily explores the complex nuances of artistic mentorship/partnership. It tracks two parallel storylines--one follows Rodgers and Hammerstein in their tension-wrought process of writing the musical Carousel; the other depicts a modern-day camp counselor and her controlling/loving mentor, as they try to stage a production of Carousel at a struggling children's theater summer camp in rural Maine.
